Fans eagerly lined up outside History Toronto on April 1, 2025, for Hwasa’s first-ever FANCON TOUR, [Twits]—a highly anticipated stop. Groups of fans huddled together, chanting Hwasa’s name and singing along to her biggest hits,  voices filling the streets with uncontainable energy. With every passing minute, anticipation grew. As fans clutched their lightsticks and handmade banners, ready to welcome their idol—Toronto was more than ready for Hwasa.

Hwasa, best known as a member of the renowned K-pop group MAMAMOO, has solidified her place as a solo powerhouse. Since the release of her debut single Twit in 2019, she has continued to captivate audiences with hits like Maria and I Love My Body. Her artistry blends confidence, vulnerability, and musical versatility—qualities that have earned her a dedicated international fanbase.

The Twit Tour showcases Hwasa’s artistic evolution, seamlessly blending elements of pop, R&B, and Latin-inspired beats into a dynamic setlist as she navigates 11 cities across North America. She kicked off the night with an electrifying performance of Hwasa from her latest album, O, followed by Chili, instantly igniting the crowd’s energy. Fans roared as she commanded the stage with effortless charisma, delivering each move and note with undeniable passion.

The atmosphere shifted as she transitioned into “LMM,” a deeply emotional ballad about resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. The energy soared once again with fan-favourite EGO transformed the space into a dance party while Maria, had the entire venue singing along.

Hwasa includes a special tribute to pop icons, performing a choreographed dance medley to Beyoncé’s Diva, Madonna’s Hung Up, Jennifer Lopez’s Get Loud, and Britney Spears’ Toxic, paying homage to the legends who paved the way. Throughout the night, she engaged with the audience, sharing heartfelt moments of humour and gratitude—reflecting on her journey as an artist and expressing deep appreciation for her devoted fans.

Hwasa’s Twit Tour continues across North America, wrapping up in Chicago on April 3rd and the European leg of the tour in May. For tour dates and ticket information, visit her official website.
