On my latest adventure to O’ahu, Hawaii, I had the pleasure to not only stay at but also take the time to fully experience the ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki and it was actually rather dreamy.
As I arrived at their grande entrance and greeted by several members of the staff, I made my way up to the epic front desk to quickly check in and make my way to my room to have some time to freshen up.
As I walked into my room for the first time I noticed it had a fresh and clean look, with a relaxed and kicked back feel. It was roomy, comfy and offered an amazing view of stunning Waikiki beach.
Later I made my way over to the Longboard Club, the place to unwind, get some great beer, some light snacks or just sit outside by the fire and chat with friends, family while sipping back on your favourite wine. (additional charges may apply)
I would return to the Longboard club many times over the coming days.
Elevated Food
When it came to food, I had the pleasure on my first night to pay a visit to Morimoto Asia Waikiki, the placeholder in Honolulu of Iron Chef Morimoto’s world-renowned cuisine. The menu integrates traditional Asian and Western ingredients, delivering speciality items such as Peking duck, sticky ribs, Korean kalbi, dim sum and traditional wok fry dishes.
From the drinks to the food, the entire experience was on point.
I also must mention the breakfast buffet as it was really top-notch, offered a great selection, and the service was quick and very friendly, I wish I could just roll in there for the breakfast buffet every day.
Moving along.
Swell Pool and Bar
Need some time to relax, unwind. Want to catch some rays or maybe grab a drink and later on sit by the fire, at Swell pool and bar, it’s all about the luxury of the lounge, and learning to perfect it.
I really enjoyed some much-needed lunge time, and also enjoyed our send-off soiree there, so I not only have some great photos, but I also have some rather fond memories.
Breaktaking Views
Speaking of breathtaking views, it’s not had to imagine there are plenty to be found in Waikiki and stay at the ‘Alohilani it’s much to put a little pep in your step as your way up each day in paradise, with a view.
The Extras
‘Alohilani offers so much more beyond your regular hotel. From eye-catching local art to be as eco-conscious as a hotel can be, to a staff that really was truly welcoming, kind, and super sweet in meeting all my needs, well the few things I asked for along the way.
So, if you’re paying a visit to Waikiki, I’d suggest you stay at the ‘Alohilani Resort where you can learn how to relax, let go, and let all your troubles just float away, and start living the O’ahu way!
