TESTED: The Apollo Mattress by GoodMorning.com

If someone would have asked me 15 years ago whether a great night of sleep ranked near the top of my list for my life’s must-haves, I would have laughed, stayed up late and had another mediocre night of sleep. Skip ahead 15 years, and a great night of sleep is something I know is integral to optimal health, clarity of mind and overall wellbeing, and nowadays is something that has become very important to me. It’s no surprise as to why.

While many factors go into a great night of sleep, healthy eating, plenty of water, having a clear mind, an excellent mattress is at the very top of that list.

So, recently after seeing the sheer joy that my business partner and best friend Nadia has enjoyed from her new Novosbed mattress care of GoodMorning.com, I thought it was about time to upgrade my mattress as well.

For those not yet aware, GoodMorning.com are the creators of the wildly popular Douglas bed, Logan & Cove, Novobed (the one Nadia reviewed) and the Apollo Premium Copper Hybrid Mattress, the dreamy mattress I spent the last two months testing.

Over the years, I’ve gone through several beds. I started with a rather terrible spring mattress. Then I moved to a generic foam mattress, which was good but didn’t offer enough support. Now, as of today, I must admit, the last couple of months of sleeping on the Apollo bed have been some of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in my adult life.

The mattress is firm (medium-firm) yet comfortable, plush without feeling like your just sinking into a block of foam and here’s why;

The Apollo mattress features five distinct layers that work together to offer the perfect balance of comfort and support to set you up for the ultimate night’s sleep. Featuring high-density coppergel memory foam, which helps with advanced cooling, so you don’t overheat, and 5G open-cell memory foam that significantly reduces motion, aka you can get up at night and not disturb your other half, this sturdy, strong, superior mattress, that my better half and I agree, we both love.

The Apollo Mattress’ full features include:

  • 12” Height
  • Foam and Micro-Coil Hybrid
  • Medium-Firm Feel
  • Machine-Washable PolarMAXTM Cooling Cover
  • Copper-Infused Memory Foam
  • Pocketed Micro-Coils
  • CertiPUR-US® Certified Foam

The Apollo also offers a 500 lb Weight Limit (250 lb on each side), is made in Canada, which we love to hear, and is available in twin up to Cali-king (the model I tested), with a price range from 949 to 1449 Canadian.

Is this just a great mattress? Yes, Is that where it ends? No!

When it comes to delivery, it was super easy as the bed is boxed and bagged, and all you have to do is unbox, roll it out onto your box spring or frame, carefully cut off the wrap, and leave it to regain its natural shape. We left it out for about 16 hours. It seemed to take its complete form after about 24 – 48 hours.

Even better, when you order a mattress, you’ll feel secure knowing your mattress has a 120-night sleep trial, as mentioned is proudly made in Canada and comes with free shipping & returns and a 15-year warranty.

Let’s face it, while there’s no miracle solution to help everyone become sleeping beauty, or for every night’s sleep to be perfect, a fantastic mattress like the Apollo Premium Copper Hybrid Mattress from GoodMorning.com makes it that much easier to get the highest quality of sleep, and we think that’s pretty dreamy!
